It was an ok hotel for a weekend trip. I had a room with the bund view (part of the bund view at least). It is 10 minutes walking distance from the station but i have not tried it as taxi is sooo ship.
It did not happened to me but I overheard one of the woman receptionist talking to a guest over the phone in a not so nice way. also, with the rate I have, internet usage should have been free.

location is not that ideal if you are going for city or shopping trip.

I liked the location hoowever this is maximum 2.5 star hotel. It needs renovation, staff was helpful and spoke English which was really good and useful.

Close distance to down town and many other tourist destination. Easy accessible to Taxi, and the Taxi cost is very cheap. A lot cheaper than public transport in Australia.
They should stream clean the carpet.

The location
Our floor and our bedroom smelled like a sewer. The breakfast food wasn't really that tasty and the breakfast room was always crowded. The bedroom was all but spacious.

I loved the rooftop restobar, very relaxing with superb view.
No coffee inside the room, just tea.

Very nice hotel, nice bathroom, you can look into the hotel room. Price very reasonable for the luxury you get. Staff speaks quite good english compared to other hotels. Restaurant at the top had very good dinner.

Good location, very clean rooms, breakfast with a big variety of food, nice bar at the last floor of the hotel with a great bund view
At the concierge, the stuff was not very polite, on the contrary they were quite sassy.

Location is good and there is a bank beside of the hotel, so it is convenient for money exchange.
Hotel Bathroom shower drainage system was not good.

Central to most places. Easy to get a taxi. Room comfortable. Good breakfast
The hotel staff at the front desk and in the restaurant did not seem happy. Nobody smiled. I made it my mission to use their names and say something nice to them to get a smile back in return.We were in Shanghai to visit Expo and decided to stay an extra night.

Value for money. Good room, friendly service, in walking distance to Bund (river side) and Nanjing Road. Famous roof top bar is closed for renovation. Pool also closed.

too expensive , far from metro, no airport shuttle even though its written on the website , we booked for airport shuttle service, once we arrive, we realize there is no shuttle, I ask how can we get to airport, and they told me we can only take taxi...
